Reminder: PTO meeting tonight

Breakfast with Santa earns $1,900+

St. Paul School PTO meeting is at 6:30 tonight in Boeke Hall. The December.meeting was moved up because of the school Christmas program on the regular meeting night.

The Breakfast with Santa on Saturday eanred more than $1,900, coordinator Rikki Horrigan reported.

Here’s a thank you note she sent to PTO members:

Breakfast with Santa would not have been possible without all of your help. I am truely amazed at how wonderfully the event came together. From those who helped decorate, to the craft crew, those who sold tickets, helped with reservations, assisted Santa, worked in the kitchen, helped with clean up, solicited donations.... on and on THANK YOU! I hope we can all come together and do this again next year. For anyone who is interested the total profit for the event was a little more than $1900! We did GREAT! Thanks again to all of you who made it possible... I would not have been able to do this without ALL of you!!! Have a very Blessed Christmas!!!

PTO president Todd Wammes in an email to PTO members commended Horrigan and the breakfast committee. Wammes wrote:

Thank you for your wonderful leadership with this event. It truly was a great success. Making a profit is nice, but the bigger success is the opportunity this event provided for the community to come together. So many gave of their time to work together for the event and once all the work was done so many others came to enjoy.

I just came from a Parish Council meeting and a council member commented how wonderful it was having an event such as this with so many people together. They and their family thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. I know of a number of families that attended that are not St. Paul School and/or Parish families and what a wonderful display of the vibrancy within our community for these visitors.
